Night Writings: The Girl in the Boater Hat

It's drizzling outside. Once again, she opens the door and suddenly can feels the cold night air blowing through her. She's smiling watching the raindrops falling down off the sky one by one. Somehow, she reminds and recalls all those memories about him, not with him. 'Cause they were never been together.

It just happens in her fantasy only. To be with that guy who always can makes her feels better than he could thought. She comes back inside to takes her boater just for walks aways through the rain. The "J" letter suddenly appears in her sight. But she quickly shakes her head, throwing the all-things about him. She won't remembering him, at least for tonight.

And here she is again. Under the night sky. Dancing like there's no tomorrow. There're many moves she made. Moonwalk, a bit of ballet, or her own 'freestyle' dance moves. She just loves it, dancing.

What makes her glad is because it's night already and drizzling. That means, no body's out there, so she can dances as crazy as she wants. Till tired. Takes some nap. And starts typing this story.

RaeLynn: Another Blonde Who Inspires Me

Racheal "RaeLynn" Woodward. Born in Baytown, Texas in May 4th, 1994 is an American country singer. She finished third on Blake Shelton’s team on The Voice 2. Her first single debut "Boyfriend" (previously titled: "I Want Your Boyfriend") has released in early December 2012. The blonde, who inspires me too.

I was firstly captivated by RaeLynn by watched her performed Pistol Annies's "Hell On Heels" in The Voice season 2. She got the first chance performance. Usually, I never get my attention to the first participant, but this one was different. I don't know why, but I always got my eye on blondes. Uh, is that sounds creepy?

Yeah, my classmates are mostly mocking my favorite musics. Teenager suppose to hears teen pop, electro pop, pop rock, and something. But I do too, it just I love country even more.

Besides, I really love how RaeLynn wears a kind of big flower on her head, mostly the red one, but I've seen her wearing black, and I guess it's depend with her clothes. Here are the photos.

Victoria Dawn Justice: The Other One Who Inspires Me

Victoria Dawn Justice. Born in Hollywood, Florida in February 19th, 1993 is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and dancer. Her genres are pop, electropop, and dance pop. She is best known for her acting career in lot shows. Especially, as Lola Martinez in Nickelodeon Zoey 101 and lately as Tori Vega in Nickelodeon Hit Tv Show: Victorious. She is the (other) one who inspires me.

As I've mentioned before, I'd love the Taylor Swift's dressing style, that before I know Vicky (Victoria's nickname) this well as now. But, if you ask me once again, I'd rather to choose Vicky's style. My genre maybe country, but my style is pop.

Not because Vicky's younger than Taylor. But, I realized that I just adore Taylor's style. And I can't steal her style 'cause that isn't me. Plus, I'm not wear dresses and those pumps. I'm wearing plain shirts or cute tanks underneath cool blazers and cardigans along with super cool sneakers and loafers.

Hair is another part of Vicky's that drives me crazy. Not just because I'm brunette, but also because of I AM BRUNETTE JUST LIKE HER. Hahaha. Really, I love her spiral curly wavy brown hair. It's just so lovely!

Can't imagine what I'm gonna do if only one day, someday I'll meet her. Could be the most exciting experience ever. Well, who also The Victorian? Leave your comment in the box below.

My Born City: Celebrates the 345th Anniversary

It's been years passed away. Unbelievable this city is old already. And I was born right here 15 years ago in September 1997. No matter what people's says but I will always love this city.

Samarinda is the capital of the Indonesian province of East Kalimantan (Borneo) the island of Borneo. The city lies on the banks of the Mahakam River. It is the most populous city in East Kalimantan with a population of 726,223. Although it is the capital of East Kalimantan, some government institutions such as the Police, Indonesian Army District VI Of Tanjung Pura, and Pelabuhan Indonesia (Port Transportation) are located on the island. Samarinda is known for its traditional food amplang, as well as the cloth sarong Samarinda. The city also has a bridge connecting its river banks, Mahakam Bridge. The city center is on one side and the other side is named Samarinda Seberang.

At the start of the Gowa War, the Dutch under Admiral Speelman's command attacked Makassar from the sea. Meanwhile, the Netherlands' local ally Arung Palaka led a ground attack. The Kingdom of Gowa was forced to surrender and Sultan Hassanudin was made to sign the Bongaya Treaty on 19 November 1667.
The treaty did not quell all trouble for the Dutch however, since the Bugis from Gowa continued their struggle using guerilla tactics. Some Buginese moved to other islands close by such as Kalimantan. A few thousand people led by Lamohang Daeng Mangkona or Pua Ado I, moved to East Kalimantan, known then as Kutai, where they were welcomed by the local Sultan.
The Sultan of Kutai gave the migrants land in Kampung Melantai around the Karang Mumus River, now known as Kampung Selili, where established farms and fisheries. In payment, the Bugis people promised to help the Sultan defend Kutai whenever needed.
The arrival of the first Bugis on 21 January 1668 was chosen to mark the city's anniversary.
Samarinda was a small, sleepy town in 1942 with several small oil fields in the vicinity. It was occupied by the Japanese after the Dutch East Indies had fallen.
In 1955, the Apostolic Vicariate of Samarinda was established in the city. In 1961, it was promoted as the Diocese of Samarinda. In 2003, the diocese was promoted as the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Samarinda.

The name Samarinda originates from the description of the way in which the Bugis houses were constructed. At that time houses were customarily built on a raft and generally had the same height. This provided important social symbolism of equality between residents; no person's house, and thus no person, was seen as higher or lower than another. They named the settlement 'Samarenda', meaning 'equal in height'. After hundreds of years of use the pronunciation of the name changed slightly and the city became known as Samarinda.

So, if some of you who might read this and you are here in Samarinda, well, I'll glad to know. I won't speak my current position. But if you like to meet, I can consider it.

"Happy 345th Anniversary my beloved city!"

Night Writings: Underneath the Starry Sky

It's midnight already. She takes a look outside wondering is there anybody out there? She sneaks out to her balcony. She finds no one. No wonder, it's just midnight already. If she really wants to sees someone it got be ghost or something.

After she makes sure that she's alone, she turns off the lights around her. Then, she returns to the balcony. And right there, she just enjoying the sense of midnight air. How's the lights are turning off, how's cool the wind blowing, how's sweet the voice of people's snores in their sleeves. She wouldn't forgot tonight memory.

The reason why she sneaks out to her balcony this late is because (at first) she wants to dancing in random and crazy. Because beside singing, the way she spills out and shows her emotions is by dancing. She doesn't knows is it because late already or she just tired or dancing is just too boring for her now, she can't decides.

Moveless, she sit down at her balcony. Her head is up and gots the beauty night sky. She's wondering, is someone she missed is missing her too by now? Those crazy thoughts haunted her mind. But she promised that she will swept it away.

Tired, she tries to lies on. And she just smiling when staring right at the starry midnight sky. She can't even feels the mosquitos are sucking her blood for like a pint. She just hoping that she will sees a shooting star or meteor or any kind of constellation tonight. But she doesn't. Only several little stars and dark grey clouds.

She just feeling like she's on her seat watching her own planetarium show. She lets herself to closes her eyes. Eventually, she falls asleep if only a noise of mosquito doesn't attracts her. But she can't open her eyes. It's like 'something' hanging on her eyelashes.

And mosquitos are waking her up. She doesn't know what gonna happen if she can't open her eyes anymore. Or what if when she opens her eyes, all she gots is a too bright shine that makes her eyes blinds? What if the life she knew is gone too fast?

But, she still sees the same starry midnight sky. She can hears her relieved sound, and suddenly giggling. She surprises that she is really lying on the balcony's cold floor, literally. She thought that she was lied in her warm-comfy bed. But she was wrong.

FALLEN SERIES and My Next Biggest Masterpiece

Hey, there. Have you ever read novels by the author Lauren Kate? Especially, the Fallen Series, which includes: Fallen; Torment; Passion; Fallen In Love (Special Valentine's Day); and Rapture? If you have, then we can get in touch. This one article will talks all about Fallen Series by Lauren Kate. And my next biggest masterpiece as well.

I'm thinking the idea in this morning. I've wrote a lot of short stories and never-published novels. Then, why not post them here to fill my blog? Since that, I'm planning to post some of my greatest short stories (originally written by me) as online reading stories.

Well, probably some of you would asking what is related with Fallen Series? Well, if you guys have read the whole series, then you should get what I'm trying to say here. And for getting started, I wanna ask, who's your favorite character in Fallen Series by Lauren Kate? Could be the main characters: Daniel, Luce, and Cam? Could be another characters: Arriane, Roland, Gabbe, Shelby, Miles, Francesca, Steven, Dee? Or probably like: Molly, Miss Shopia, Mr. Cole, and perhaps Penn?

I know you guys has your own answers. And for me, I really love the character Gabbe Givens (beside the main characters) since I read "Fallen" in end of 2009. And how's the Fallen Series related with my next masterpiece is I'm trying to wrote 'another' stories behind the main stories.

So, if you guys have read "Rapture" which published in June 2012, what do you guys think after done the whole books? I think the most part that made me sick was when Gabbe (and Molly) sacrificed themselves to protected Luce. I mean, really? Gabbe's gone? And where's she gonna go? Heaven? She's a fallen angel, isn't she? Is there any 'heaven' up there for dead angels? There're a lot of questions spinned in my head that I can't focus to the story any longer.

And, because of a missed of Gabbe. I wrote another story that tells about Gabbe, but isn't Gabbe's story. Huh, got it? I know it's complicated. And I won't called as copier. So I can't wrote a story about who's Gabbe Givens. I'm trying to write a story that related with Gabbe, the story about Gabbe, but it ain't Gabbe's story. Haha, I know it's hard to understands.

And I'm currently in working to the sequel of my version of this story. The first book story started with Gabbe's immortal sister, that I wouldn't tell her name yet. It's still about fallen angels. And I don't even know is there any sister of Gabbe in Lauren Kate version. But that's never revealed before, so this is my fantasy only. I'm just hoping if my story getting famous, then Random House Australia will sees this, and they'll contracts me for wrote the whole series in the future. Whoa, what a dream comes true, IF ONLY that's really happening.

But, guys before I post my "Fallen" other version story here, I would like to post my short stories in an event called "13 Awesome Weeks of 13 Short Stories". Where I will post 13 short stories originally written by me in every single weekends till the 13th week since the event. And if you guys are thinking why "13", it's my lucky number actually.

So I guess that's it for now. I will start the even right when I got a lot free times. And you can sure these short stories are fresh from the oven. Haha! And I promise it won't takes a too long time. I just need a (LOT) free times to wrIte some new short stories. I wouldn't post my old short stories, believe me.

Ah, don't forget to let me know what you think. You know what to do: fill the comment in the box below. Regards!

Taylor Alison Swift: The One Who Inspires Me

Taylor Alison Swift. Born in Reading, Pennsylvania in December 13, 1989 is an American country pop singer-songwriter who inspires me for doing a lot things. Dress, sing, strum, act. However not successfully done it, at least I've tried my best.

I'm in working to sent her a letter in an event that held by a Twitter account (@TaylorSwiftIndo, @HuggableSwiftie, and much more those I can't mention). I'm currently done 3 papers filled with my hand writing.

Also, I'm trying to learn how to play guitar, by myself since last year. And it's improved by days. My play really helped by video guitar lesson tutorials from I-hope-she-wants-be-my-friend, Ellen Chang (best known on her YouTube channel: for3v3rfaithful) who currently lives somewhere in Spring, Texas.

A someone like Taylor Swift. I guess there's no book that can explains every single things about her. But, people often being misunderstands. They were thought that because I love Taylor, I love country musics. But in otherwise, because of I love country musics, I love Taylor Swift. Hmm, surprised? Think again. I've crushed on country musics for years even before I know Taylor as well as now.

Taylor isn't my only inspiring people. I'll post more details of them in the future. Hey, why not share your inspiring people here with me? You know what to do: leave comments in the box below.

Miss Ciccone: A True Sagittarian ♐

Cicco, or best known in her Twitter popularity as @missciccone and her sweet voice in SoundCloud. And mostly, for the way she expresses herself.

Cicco is currently a radio's broadcaster in OZ Radio Jakarta. And pathetically, I never heard her 'show' in the radio, I live too far away from Jakarta. Rectifying: not that far away, but far enough. She lives in a 'kostan' that I guess an apartment. Because, she've tweeted that she loved to hang out with her foreign neighbors from Russia, Japan, Singapore, French, and New Zealand despite of forgetting their names. I mean, are those people really lives in a 'kostan' in meaning the same 'kostan' in my mind?

So, tonight, when @missciccone's tweeted: "Glee 4? Like, seriously? That's something I won't be watching like ever." on her Twitter timeline. And I just about reply to her: "@missciccone Glee's exciting, actually. We can play in guessing which ones of those guys who're not gays. Haha." I'm doing that not hoping she'll gonna do something with that 'cause I used to 'commenting' or just retweeting her tweets.

I know Cicco has a lot of followers. But then I just saw a blinking blue in mention tab and she responded my tweet! "#err RT @putriquineeta: Glee's exciting, actually. We can play in guessing which ones of those guys who're not gays. Haha." And I'm just like, "Oh my gosh! Is she really retweet that!?"

I mean, Cicco (@missciccone) is kinda celebrity tweets, but she doesn't want to called like that. She has 42,96k (last time I checked) followers and she's no actress! I can't believe it at first time figured it out.

Cicco named after Madonna's name (Ciccone). And ironic, I don't even know who's Cicco's full name. But in some sources it says that her full name was Rhama Cicco, but still I didn't sure enough about that.

And why I made this like it such a greatest story ever told is because I know there got be lot responds about her tweet and she responds mine? Hmm, feeling like an actress responds your 'appearance'.

Really, Cicco looks like such a sweet girl. I loved to waiting and reading her Twitter updates which mostly can makes me feel any better, giggling, or just smiling. In some tweets they're successfully makes me laughed. I like the hashtags she've made like #Ciccoscope and #CicconeAwards (once a year).

And all I knew about Cicco except her awesome Twitter updates, is her heart-warming sound when she's singing and posted them on SoundCloud and her blog on Posterous (http://missciccone.posterous.com). You killed it, Miss! I really love Cicco's voice. But she said a.k.a tweeted that she recorded those songs were LIVE from her bathroom while she's pooping. Eh.

She's kinda a not-that-care about life, she just walks through it. But not let it go away too easy as well. She said facts and the ugly truths to telling us how cruel this world can be. And of course, how to facing the reality and keep strong and laughing our asses off.

As the title, "Miss Ciccone: A True Sagittarian". I know a lot Sagittarians, and they're famous as their calm personality and sweet and anything. And Cicco is the one who shows me. She doesn't mind to wrote something vulgar but somehow it's God damn true!

If Cicco ever read this, I hope she just (at least) smile. And she can be get in my Inspiring People list. Hihi. Um, anyone knows Cicco why're not leave your comment in the box below? I'll be waiting.

And for P.S:
If some of you who (might) read this still wondering who's this Cicco I talk about, come to:

Well, I don't have her Facebook link. Probably, she doesn't have one. Or she used to have one once, but then deactivate it because it's too boring or Facebook has friends limit while Twitter no. Just what I thought.

Pink: The Sweetest Color Ever

This one color is my favorite the most. And for getting started I'd like to post an article about it. Here we go...

MAIN

Pink is any of the colors between bluish red (purple) and red, of medium to high brightness and of low to moderate saturation. Commonly used for Valentine's Day and Easter, pink is sometimes referred to as "the color of love." The use of the word for the color "pink" was first recorded in the late 17th century.

Although pink is roughly considered just as a tint of red, most variations of pink lie between red, white and magenta colors. This means that the pink's hue is somewhat between red and magenta.

Roseus is a Latin word meaning "rosy" or "pink." Lucretius used the word to describe the dawn in his epic poem On the Nature of Things (De rerum natura). The word is also used in the binomial names of several species, such as the Rosy Starling (Sturnus roseus) and Catharanthus roseus. In most Indo-European languages, the color pink is called rosa. In Persian, it is called sourati, meaning "color of the face." In Hindi, it is called gulabi, meaning "color of a rose."

The color pink is named after the flowers called pinks, flowering plants in the genus Dianthus. The name derives from the frilled edge of the flowers—the verb "to pink" dates from the 14th century and means "to decorate with a perforated or punched pattern" (possibly from German "pinken" = to peck). As noted and referenced above, the word "pink" was first used as a noun to refer to the color known today as pink in the 17th century. The verb sense of the word "pink" continues to be used today in the name of the hand tool known as pinking shears.

The association of pink with girls dates to the modern era, probably developing at different times in different countries. In 1856, it was reported that Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie of France prepared outfits with blue trimmings for the anticipated birth of a son, but their reasons were religious in that the son was to be dedicated to the Virgin Mary, whose traditional color was blue. An 1868 American source, Louisa May Alcott's Little Women refers to French fashion's assignment of colors−"Amy put a blue ribbon on the boy and a pink on the girl, French fashion, so you can always tell [them apart]."−but it is unclear whether the French fashion was to use colors to distinguish between children or between boys and girls. Before the 20th century, European countries varied, with some assigning colors based on the baby's complexion, and others assigning pink sometimes to boys and sometimes to girls.
In the United States, there was no established rule in the 19th century. A 1927 survey of ten department stores reported that pink was preferred for boys in six of them and for girls in four.

The foremost student of the role of color in children's fashion, Jo Paoletti, found that "By the 1950s, pink was strongly associated with femininity" but to an extent that was "neither rigid nor universal" as it later became.
Some date the origin of the association of pink with girls in the United States to the 1910s or 1920s. Many have noted the contrary association of pink with boys in 20th-century America. An article in the trade publication Earnshaw's Infants' Department in June 1918 said:
The generally accepted rule is pink for the boys, and blue for the girls. The reason is that pink, being a more decided and stronger color, is more suitable for the boy, while blue, which is more delicate and dainty, is prettier for the girl.
Some feminists have sought to 'reclaim' the color pink. For example, the Swedish feminist party Feminist Initiative and the American activist women's group Code Pink: Women for Peace use pink as their color.

The pink ribbon is the international symbol of breast cancer awareness. Pink was chosen partially because it is so strongly associated with femininity
One study by two neuroscientists in Current Biology examined color preferences across cultures and found significant differences between male and female responses. Both groups favored blues over other hues, but women had more favorable responses to the reddish-purple range of the spectrum and men had more favorable responses to the greenish-yellow end of the spectrum. Despite the fact that the study used adults, and both groups preferred blues, and responses to the color pink were never even tested, the popular press represented the research as an indication of an innate preference by girls for pink. The misreading has been often repeated in market research, reinforcing American culture's association of pink with girls on the basis of imagined innate characteristics.

A study has been reported to show that a greater proportion of females respond favorably to pink because of a preference for reddish things like ripe fruits.
The phrase "pink-collar worker" refers, in the West, to persons working in fields or jobs conventionally regarded as "women's work."

PERSONALITY

While you may not exhibit all the character traits of a personality color pink as listed here, if pink is your favorite color you will find yourself somewhere in the description. You may also find you exhibit some of the negative traits, particularly when you are stressed.
-Having a personality color pink as your favorite color means you are loving, kind, generous and sensitive to the needs of others.
-You are friendly and approachable with a warmth and softness others are drawn to.
-You are the nurturers of the world - you love to give nurturing and to receive nurturing in return.
-You have a maternal instinct, with a need to protect and take care of others. You also have a need for this caring to be reciprocated as you do tend to neglect yourself in your determination to take care of the needs of others.
-You are very much in touch with your femininity - this includes men who are in touch with their feminine side.
-You are romantic and sensual and sensitive.
With your optimistic and positive outlook on life, you see the good in everyone.
-You are methodical and organized, although you can sometimes be rather flippant when the immature girly side of pink appears.
-You are refined, reserved, calm and non-violent which may give the impression of shyness.
-You have a naivety, sweetness and beauty about you which can become girlish and immature in some.
-You have a youthful appearance, even into old age, looking younger than you really are, even to the point of looking dainty, frail and vulnerable.
-The challenge for you is to become more self-reliant and to learn to love yourself, then love and acceptance will be returned to you multiplied.

Maybe that's it. Sorry if it's too plain and boring for you. I'm kinda beginner of this. Hey, why're not share your favorite color here with me? Just wrote in the comment box below.
